Information we collect

Browsing K-duck does not require an account. Like most websites, our hosting and security providers automatically process technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information and the pages you visit, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

When accounts and reviews become available, you will be able to sign in with Google. We will then receive your name, email address and profile image from Google, and store the reviews you write, including optional details such as skin type, climate, country and skin tone.

Cookies and advertising

K-duck uses (or will use) Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.

Some “where to buy” links are affiliate links. If you buy through them, the store may tell us that a purchase happened so that we can earn a commission. We do not receive your payment details. Affiliate links never affect rankings.

To run, secure and improve the site; to show rankings and reviews; to show ads and measure their performance; and to respond to your requests. In the EEA and UK, we rely on your consent for personalized ads and on our legitimate interest for running and protecting the site.

Sharing

Retention

Technical logs are kept for a limited time for security. Account data and reviews are kept until you delete them or close your account.

Children

K-duck is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
